This interdisciplinary workshop examines the intellectual, political, and ethical dimensions of human rights by questioning who is recognized as its subject. Organized by the Weiss Chair in the Humanities and the African Feminist Initiative, the event brings together scholars, artists, and writers to explore feminist perspectives on rights, citizenship, and lived experience across African and global contexts.
