About Chika Maduakolam
Chika Maduakolam is a doctoral student in the Department of Socio-Legal studies at York University, Toronto where she is researching conflict-related sexual violence. Her research interests include: conflict, gender-based violence, and transitional justice. She holds a Masters’ degree in Law from Osgoode Hall Law School, Toronto, and has practiced as a lawyer in Nigeria for over 10 years.
